Words do hurt. As a matter of fact, I would rather have sticks and stones thrown at me than hurtful words. The physical wounds heal much faster with rarely a scar.
Today, I heard of a soldier being verbally attacked. That's going to hurt for awhile. I'm sure he would rather a stick be thrown at him.
I pray for word-throwers. I'm sad about what must be in their lives to make them so verbally aggressive.
Here's hoping for soft words.
